1. High Ponytail – The Start to a Party Hairstyle

You can never go wrong with the high pony as a timeless classic.

To achieve this look, the first thing you’ll want to do is decide where on your head you want the ponytail to sit. Gather your hair after blowdrying, and use your favorite Spornette paddle brush to slick the hair up and back.

Continue using the brush once you’ve gathered the hair to make sure it’s all smooth with no bumps.

Once the hair is smooth and gathered, grab a hair elastic and secure the ponytail. If you have thicker hair, you might want to use a second elastic to ensure it stays in place throughout the night.

If you want a messier, more effortless look, you can pull out some baby hairs from the front. If you want a more sleek look, you can use hairspray to smooth back those baby hairs and keep them in place.

2. Crown Braid

This style is another simple one, but it looks like you put in a ton of effort.

This type of crown braid only uses sections from the sides of your head, leaving the rest of your hair down. The first thing you’ll want to do is grab a Spornette Swizzle Detangling Brush to ensure you have no knots or tangles.

If you want to do a smaller braid and leave the rest of your hair out, grab a small section of hair from behind the ear and braid it however you’d like. A simple three-strand braid is easier, of course, but you can customize this however you want.

Once you’ve finished your braids, secure them with an elastic. Wrap the braid around to the back of the head, and secure it with a bobby pin. Repeat the same thing on the other side with another small section of hair, and secure it with another elastic and pin.

For a looser look, remove the elastics once they’re secured with bobby pins and gently tug on the braids to make them look fuller and bigger. You can leave the hair underneath the braids as is or style it however you’d like!

3. Top Knot

This style is very simple and similar to the high ponytail. It’s another classic, and whether you have long hair or short, you can’t go wrong. You can also style and customize with any accessories you’d like.

First, gently remove any tangles. Choose where on your head you want the bun to sit and gather your hair as if you were putting it into a high ponytail.

Once you have the hair where you want it, use the Luxury Cushion brush to smooth out the top. If you’d like, you can tie the hair into a ponytail before doing the top knot so it can be more secure.

Twist the hair into a knot-like shape on the top of the head and secure with another hair tie. If you want a looser, more casual look, you can manipulate the bun and pull some pieces out from the front.

If you want a more slicked-back, sleek look, use hairspray to keep any loose baby hairs in place.

4. Bouncy Blowout

A soft, curly blowout has been one of the most popular styles this season. This can be a difficult look to achieve at first, but we’ve got your back!

A key product to this look is a Spornette round brush. These brushes allow you to style your hair while you’re drying it and help you achieve those gorgeous, effortless curls.

Be sure to add some heat protectant to your hair before you start. Once you’ve done that, section your hair into fours.

Grab your favorite blow dryer, and start drying from the back of your hair and bottom layers. As you dry, wrap your hair around your round brush and twist the handle of the brush.

When your hair is completely dry, wrap the hair around the brush like a curling iron or roller to achieve those effortless, soft curls. Repeat this for all sections of hair.

Use your favorite hairspray once you’ve finished so you keep the style in place. This style can be difficult to achieve at first, but with a little practice, you’ll be a pro in no time!

5. Effortless Waves

This style is another popular one, and good news–it’s extremely simple and takes barely any effort! There are many different ways to achieve effortless waves, and heatless waves are our favorite.

One of the simplest ways to achieve waves is by braiding your hair. Depending on how you want the waves to look, you can do smaller braids for tighter waves or bigger braids for looser ones.

You don’t even need to know how to french braid to achieve this. You can do two regular three-strand braids and still achieve this look!

Start with damp hair, use a Spornette detangling brush to remove any tangles, and secure the braids.

Keep the braids in for the entire day or overnight, and take them out the following day to reveal beautiful, effortless waves.

6. Sleek Chignon

If you have a cocktail party or an event that is a little fancier, this is the perfect hairstyle for you. It’s simple but elegant and will go perfectly with any formal attire.

Several different Spornette brushes will work to achieve this style. Simply brush out the hair to start and create a middle part in the hair.

Smooth the hair to the back of the head as if you were creating a low bun. Twist the hair starting at the base of the neck and continue twisting to create that low bun shape.

Secure with bobby pins and style however you want. You can tease the hair on top to give yourself a bit more volume or keep it sleek and simple.

7. Fancy Fishtail Braid

The fishtail braid is one of the simplest braids to achieve, and it’s also one of the most unique. You can do a messy side braid, a crown braid as we talked about before, or a simple braid in the back of the head.

Detangle your hair with a ”21” Classic Nylon Cushion and gather your hair wherever you want the braid to be. You might want to start by securing the hair into a ponytail to keep the hair intact, but you can remove it later.

Section the ponytail into two, and start by crossing a small strand of hair from one section over to the next. Repeat this until you reach the bottom of the hair, and secure with another elastic.

You can keep the braid sleek, or you can pull the strands out for a messy, Bohemian-style look.
